About the album

This is composer Segun Akinola’s soundtrack to the horror thriller film The Bayou. From the producers of 47 Meters Down and directed by Taneli Mustonen and Brad Watson, the film stars Athena Strates, Madalena Aragão, Elisha Applebaum, Isabelle Bonfrer and David Newman.

‘Vacation turns to disaster when recent college grad Kyle and her friends escape a plane crash in the infamous, desolate Louisiana Bayou, only to discover there’s something way more dangerous lurking in the shallows.’

Segun has combined experimental electronics and textural sounds to create a suspenseful and ominous score!

The Bayou is showing in select US cinemas and On Demand from February 21st and will premiere in UK cinemas next month.
