Rael Jones‘ soundtrack to the Showtime documentary series ‘The Kings’ will be available to stream and download here from the 6th June.
‘The Kings’ is a four-part series chronicling four of boxing’s greatest prizefighters —Roberto Durán, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard. It spotlights boxing’s evolution from the end of Muhammad Ali’s era to the era of the four boxers, set against the seismic political and socio-economic shifts taking place in the United States. Through in-depth interviews and archival footage, the series also examines the very personal battles that each man waged on his unique journey to the center of the sports world.
‘The Kings’ airs on Showtime, Sunday 6th June at 8pm ET/PT.
