This is the soundtrack for the ITV true crime drama I Fought The Law composed by Luke Richards.
I Fought The Law, starring Sheridan Smith, tells the story of Ann Ming, who managed to overturn Britain’s 800-year old double jeopardy law in her fight for justice following her daughter’s murder. Luke’s soundtrack featuring delicate piano and strings, elevates the sensitive emotions of the true story.
Produced by Hera Pictures (What It Feels Like For A Girl, Mary & George, Hamnet, Temple, Honour), the four-part series is written by Jamie Crichton (All Creatures Great and Small, The Last Kingdom, Grantchester) and is based on Ann Ming’s book ‘For The Love of Julie’.
The series will air on ITV and ITVX from the 31st August.
