About the album

This is the soundtrack for the psychological thriller THE CUT composed by Lorne Balfe and Stuart Michael Thomas. Together, Balfe and Thomas have created an immersive and emotionally resonant score that elevates the storytelling of THE CUT, perfectly aligning with Academy Award®-nominated director Sean Ellis’s vision and the film’s powerful performances.

The film stars Orlando Bloom, John Turturro, Caitríona Balfe, Gary Beadle, Ed Kear and Clare Dunne and is written by Justin Bull and Mark Lane.

A former boxing champion goes to extremes to cut a significant amount of weight, in an attempt to return to former greatness but as obsession takes hold and reality unravels, he may be spiraling into something far more terrifying.

THE CUT premieres in UK and US cinemas September 5th.
